Fr John Flader
is the Director of the Catholic Adult Education
Centre for the Archdiocese of Sydney. Fr Flader
served as chaplain of Warrane College at The
University of New South Wales, of the University of
Tasmania and of R.M.I.T in Melbourne before taking
up his present position in 2002. He has a doctorate
in Canon Law.

Fr Peter
Joseph has a doctorate in theology from the
Gregorian University. He lectured in dogma at
Vianney College, the diocesan seminary of Wagga
Wagga, where he served as vice-rector. He has
taught Theology at the Catholic Institute of
Sydney, and the John Paul II Institute for Marriage
and Family in Melbourne. He is at St Dominics at
Flemington, Sydney.

Dr Brigid
McKenna is the coordinator of the Life
Office for the Archdiocese of Sydney, which advises
and educates on ethical issues relating to life
matters and bio-ethics. She is a medical doctor and
has completed her Masters in Bio-ethics from the
John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family in
Melbourne.

Peter Holmes
was trained and served as a pastor in the Lutheran
Church prior to becoming a Catholic. Peters
pastoral training included biblical languages and
exegesis, pastoral theology, catechesis and Church
history. He is currently Manager of Studies at
CAEC.

Fr Anthony
Robbie was awarded the Licentiate in
Ecclesiastical History from the Pontifcal Gregorian
University in Rome. He teaches widely in Church
History and Doctrine.

Sr M. Isabell Naumann,
ISSM STD, is a Member of the Pontifcal
International Marian Academy. Her academic
involvement includes the John Paul II Institute for
Marriage and Family, Catholic Theological College
Melbourne, the Catholic Institute of Sydney, the
International Marian Research Institute, University
of Dayton (Dayton, USA), the University of San
Carlos, (Cebu, Philippines), and the Seminary of
the Archdiocese of Sydney. She works in Adult Faith
Formation and is a teacher and speaker in the
tradition of Schoenstatt.

Sue Moffat has
a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English and
Education from the University of New England, a
Master of Educational Administration from the
University of NSW and a Master of Education (RE)
from the ACU. In 2002 Sue commenced work on the
revision of the primary Religious Education
curriculum and the To Know, Worship and Love
Religious Education text books. She was involved in
the development of the revised K-2 RE curriculum.
Sue is currently the Education Officer in Primary
Curriculum for the CEO Sydney.

Fr Timothy
Deeter holds a DMin in liturgical
spirituality, MAs in Theology and church music and
a teaching diploma. He has taught adults in
Illinois, Oklahoma and Texas in the US, and after
nine years teaching and liturgical work in Perth he
recently served as the Director of the Liturgy
Office of the Archdiocese of Sydney.

Professor Hayden
Ramsay has taught philosophy at the
Universities of Edinburgh, Stirling, Melbourne, and
La Trobe, and also at Catholic Theological College
Melbourne and the Catholic Institute of Sydney. He
is Professor of Philosophy at the John Paul II
Institute for Marriage and Family, Melbourne. He is
Provost and Professor of Philosophy and Ethics at
the University of Notre Dame, Sydney.

Sister Moira
Debono RSM, STD completed her doctoral
studies (STD) at the John Paul II Institute for
Studies on Marriage and Family at the Lateran
University in Rome, Italy. Her STB and STL studies
were accomplished at Sant Anselmo in Rome where she
specialised in sacramental theology. She has taught
at the University of Portland in Oregon and was a
Professor at St John Vianney Seminary in Denver,
Colorado. Sister is a lecturer at the University of
Notre Dame, Sydney.

Mayte Ramos is
the Local Superior of the Marian Community of
Reconciliation in Sydney. She has been trained in
philosophy and theology as part of her religious
formation. From 2000 to 2005 she was the superior
of the International Formation Centre of her
community (Lima, Peru) where she taught History of
the Church, Philosophy and Theology. She has also
taught in Universities and High Schools. She holds
a Licentiate in Arts and Humanities with mention in
History. Mayte is currently director for the
Catechumenate Office in Sydney and recently served as
Pastoral Coordinator for the WYD08 office.

Bernadette
Devine is currently the Coordinator of
Family and Relationship Counselling for Centacare
Sydney. She has nine years experience as a couple
and family therapist and has been involved in the
development and delivery of pre- marriage
preparation programmes for over a thousand Sydney
couples. Bernadette commenced as a sessional
lecturer in the Faculty of Social Work at the
Australian Catholic University in 2006.

Fr Bernard
Gordon was ordained to the priesthood in
1994. He completed his Licentiate in Rome on the
Theology of the Spiritual Life. Father Gordon has
preached and taught for different groups in Rome,
Naples, Dublin, London, Albania, Sydney, and in the
African nations of Ghana and Tanzania. Since
November 2003 he has served as Parish Priest in the
Diocese of Wollongong. He now serves at the Good
Shepherd Seminary, Homebush, Sydney.

Fr Richard
Umbers holds a doctorate in Philosophy from
the University of Navarre. Fr Richard is Chaplain
to Redfield College in Dural, the Nairanna Study
Centre in Pennant Hills, the spiritual director for
the Notre Dame St Thomas More Society and is one of
the spiritual directors for the Good Shepherd
Seminary in Homebush. Fr Umbers is also a tutor at
the University of Notre Dame, Sydney.

Percy has qualifications in commerce,
philosophy and theology. He received his Licentiate
and Doctorate from the John Paul II Institute for
Marriage and Family, Washington. In addition to
numerous newspaper columns, Fr Percy has written
two books, including Theology of the Body Made
Simple. He now serves at the Good Shepherd
Seminary, Homebush, Sydney.
